Frequently Asked Questions

I’m considering replacing my existing driveway.  How long does it usually take to install a rubberized driveway?

Typical driveways can be resurfaced in as little as one day.

Why is it so much faster than replacing it with another asphalt driveway? And why is it less expensive?

With typical asphalt installations, a large part of the time and costs is breaking down and removing the existing asphalt and substrate. Because we are resurfacing an existing surface you save these substantial costs.

What is the warranty?

One year limited warranty on product and workmanship.

Is the surface porous? Does rainwater collect on it?

The surface is permeable meaning water will soak through and not puddle.

What temperatures can it withstand?

It can withstand any temperature Ontario has to offer. It can be installed between 10 degrees and 30 degrees Celsius.

How soon after can I use my new driveway?

Typically the very next day!

How does it react with car fluids like gas or radiator fluid?

Minor spills can be cleaned up with household cleaning products like Dawn dish soap.

In the winter can I use salt? What about a snowblower?

Yes and Yes! We don’t recommend plowing as the blade can cut and damage the rubber.

What are the costs for installation?

For different solutions we use different grades of product. But your typical driveway is $10-$15 per square foot. And for Pool areas $15-$20.
